On the obverse of the 2019 1 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra coin is another big recent change. A new sixth-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II is found on the coin’s obverse. Based on the same design Jody Clark delivered for Royal Mint coins in England in 2016, this is the sixth image of Her Majesty on Australian coins and the first since 1966 to feature the Queen’s shoulders and neckline as well.

The reverse of 2019 Australian Silver Kookaburra coins features a new image of the kingfisher’s largest member. This bird is depicted on the b ranch of a sunken tree as the sunsets across the water and you can see the reflected rays of the sun rippling across the water
