The 2019 coin features a Wedge-Tailed Eagle in flight, as it swoops down to snatch its prey. This design is a nod to the original 2014 design by John Mercanti, a former US Mint Chief Engraver. The obverse of the coin features a new design of Queen Elizabeth II on Australian coins for the first time since 1998.

The coin is struck in 1 oz of .999 fine Silver and comes in an original protective plastic capsule. Only 50,000 of these coins were produced, making it a rare and collectible addition to any silver coin collection
